Health Policy
Last updated May 3, 2023
Boogie by the Bay is committed to providing a safe and friendly dance environment for all our attendees. Please review our Code of Conduct (linked in the footer) for general guidelines.
Our health policy is based on current recommendations from the CDC, the state of California, and San Mateo County.
With the end of the COVID state of emergency in California on February 28, 2023, we are no longer requiring proof of vaccination, testing, or wearing a mask to attend Boogie by the Bay.
We recommend that you stay up-to-date on COVID vaccination and boosters if you are eligible. We also recommend that you continue to test regularly, especially if you believe you have been exposed to COVID.
If you feel unwell, develop COVID symptoms, or test positive, please stay home or self-isolate. We will refund your weekend pass (minus a $20 administrative fee) or roll over your registration to next year’s event. Please do your part to help make sure our event is as safe as possible.
Note: Our COVID policy is based on current conditions in the San Francisco Bay Area. We may update it if conditions change. We will post any updates on our website and Facebook event page.
